We want everyone to be able to read and use parentingai.co, including people who use a screen reader, zoom or larger text, a keyboard instead of a mouse, or voice control.
Our goal
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA on this website. These are the widely used international guidelines for making websites work for people with disabilities.
What we do
- Text and buttons have enough color contrast to read comfortably, and links don't rely on color alone.
- Every page works with a keyboard, and you can always see where you are on the page.
- Pages fit small screens and zooming up to 400% without sideways scrolling.
- Images that carry meaning have text descriptions. Decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- Form fields have labels, and error and confirmation messages are announced to screen readers.
- If you've turned on Reduce Motion on your device, we turn off animations and don't autoplay video.
- Videos we publish have captions and can be paused.
Our last review covered the whole site, using accessibility testing tools and a keyboard alone, on screens from small phones to desktops.
Known limitations
- Some pages link to other websites, such as the American Academy of Pediatrics and the CDC. We don't control how accessible those sites are.
Tell us if something doesn't work
If you have trouble using any part of this site, email hello@parentingai.co with "Accessibility" in the subject line. It helps to include:
- the page you were on
- what you were trying to do, and what happened
- your device, browser, and any assistive technology you use (for example VoiceOver or Zoom)
We'll reply within two business days. If you can't get to something on the site, we'll send you the information another way, such as in a plain-text email.
